Visit some ancient and 19th century sites of the Elan Valley with a four mile guided walk.
We will visit the former Blaen Coel Farm, Cefn Llanerchi Stones and Mound and Rhos y Gelynnen stone row and Cairns.
Meet at Nantgwyllt Church car park.
Please bring hand sanitiser and a basic first aid kit. Places are limited to 10 due to social distancing.
Distance about 4 miles, suitable for all ages, boots are recommended. No dogs sorry.

Charity walk for cancer research on Sunday 26th Jan 2020. This has been organised for Gill Gorton by David James and Ruth Rees.
Its be a few months now since Gill left Rhayader surgery as a nurse but wanted to give something back to the community.
Lots of us have been effected by cancer in different ways, so we would like to let people know they are not alone.
So if you would like to walk with us, sponsor us or just walk and think of the loved ones both past and present then join us.
We will be meeting at Nantgwyllt car park (what3words app - meals.trickster.approvals, OS Map Ref - SN898 632, 52.262193, -3.599264) and will start at 10am,
so get there a little earlier. It will be around 6 miles, good walking shoes are recommended,
dogs are welcome but must be on a lead and well controlled. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible.
Guided Walk, Sunday 7th April, 10am from the Elan Valley Visitor Centre.
We will take you on a 8 mile walk from the Visitor Centre to Nant y Gro Dam and onto Gro Hill to discover the ancient cairns.
The walk will continue to Crugian Bach Bronze Age Complex with its Stone Circle, Stones, Huts and Cairns.
This walk will involve climbing hills and areas may be wet and boggy.
Please bring a packed lunch and drinks.

Guided Walk, Sunday 31st August, 10am from the old wash pool SN932 697 on the Old Aber Mountain road..
We will lead this 5.5 mile scenic walk into the highlands of the Elan Valley,
visiting Esgair Perfedd Roman Marching Camp, Cairns, Cists and Stone Rows.
Please bring a packed lunch and drinks.
Dogs are welcome but please ensure they are kept on leads due to livestock present on the hills.
